Saveking safety cable

The Saveking® safety cable with shock absorber must be used exclusively as a second, independent safety device against falling mobile lighting, video and sound equipment in stage and radio and television technology in accordance with BGV C1 (new DGUV 115-002/17-18). It consists of a 6x19 steel cable with a fibre core in accordance with DIN EN 12385-4 Table 12. - Cable class: 6x19M with a nominal strength of 1,770~N/mm2. Length: 0.6 m or 1.0 m. The ends of the steel cable are finished with press-fit sleeves made of wrought aluminium alloy, obtained from semi-finished oval flat tubes with a constant wall thickness in accordance with DIN EN 13411-3. Press-fit joint in accordance with DIN EN 13411-3, Form A – cylindrical. Equipped on one side with a captive quick link or a Kettbiner®. Equipped on both sides with thimbles according to DIN 6899 Form B made of profiled material, RW 3/5/7, galvanically zinc-plated. The shock-absorbing element consists of an inserted loop and a brake clamp.
