Once 6000 hours are reached, replacement is recommended to prevent bulb explosion due to thermal fatigue.

Is the HRI 100W electronically dimmable?

Yes, if the projector features a compatible electronic ballast, the lamp's power can be adjusted (usually between 50% and 100%). However, to achieve blackout effects or smooth fades without altering the 9000 K color temperature, lighting designers prefer using the mechanical dimmer (shutter) integrated into the fixture.
